Root Canal Treatment Made Simple: Save Your Tooth, Save Your Smile!

Have you ever had a toothache that just won’t go away? That might be a sign you need a Root Canal Treatment (RCT). Don’t worry — it’s not as scary as it sounds! In fact, RCT is a safe and effective way to relieve pain and save your natural tooth.

So, what exactly is a root canal?

Inside each tooth, there’s a soft tissue called the pulp, which can get infected due to deep cavities, cracks, or injuries. During a root canal, the dentist gently removes this infected pulp, cleans the inside of the tooth, and seals it to prevent further damage. The procedure is usually done under local anesthesia and feels similar to getting a regular filling!

How is RCT done?

First, the dentist numbs the area so you won’t feel pain. Then, they make a tiny opening in the tooth to reach the infected pulp. Using special tools, they clean out the damaged tissue and disinfect the inside. Finally, the tooth is filled and sealed — sometimes with a crown placed on top to make it strong again. It usually takes 1–2 sittings.

Why choose RCT?

Because it allows you to keep your natural tooth instead of pulling it out. It helps you chew better, prevents other teeth from shifting, and keeps your smile looking natural. With today’s modern techniques, the procedure is quick, nearly painless, and has a high success rate.

At Hexadent Multispecialty Dental Clinic, Nerul, we use the latest tools and technology to make RCT smooth and stress-free.
